Various accessories are available, like, for example, a nunchuk, which lets you have movement in both hands, or a steering wheel that the Wii remote fits into. This is used in vehicle racing games such as 'Mario-cart'.
The Nintendo Wii is developed by Nintendo, and manufactured by Foxconn, founded in 1974, which also makes the ipad, ipod, and iphone. It is a Taiwanese company that is the world's largest manufacturer of electronic components. But Foxconn is under current scrutiny for employee mistreatment. This includes long working hours, discrimination among employees, and even some suicides in 2010.
